The following pricing plans are available on Cranky Cat:
Premium – for those really serious about getting their property sold and those who require a quick sale, this plan is the recommended option. For a payment of £75, the property will be featured right at the top of the Home Page, where it will receive maximum exposure. With options to post unlimited descriptive text and up to 25 photo's, the Premium plan provides the greatest chance of successfully selling a property.
Standard – priced at £45, this plan is a less expensive option for properties that need to be sold quickly. While ads are not featured on the Home Page, they can still have up to 2000 words and 10 photos. This is more than enough to describe a property in great detail and show off its features pictorially. The Standard plan is the most popular option on Cranky Cat.
Free – you can advertise your property at no cost. However, you will be restricted to 4 photos and 500 words of text.
Also available as extra pricing options are the following:
Featured Ads – a Featured Ad, as already mentioned, is placed at the top of the Home Page where it will be seen by everyone logging into the site. A fee of £35 is charged. A Free Ad will be removed after 30 days.
Priority Ads – choosing this option places your ad at the top of all listings pages. As regards exposure, this is the next best option to a Featured Ad, as a Priority Ad will be the first one that other users see when browsing a listings page. Priority Ads are priced at £30.
Highlighted Ads – as the name suggests, a Highlighted Ad is placed in a bright yellow box that really makes it stand out from other ads on a listings page. This option is priced at £20.
Please note that ads will remain on the site for as long as the seller wishes (with the exception of Free Ads). However, in order to keep the site's content as current as possible, all ads will have to be renewed after 30 days (a reminder email will be sent 3 days in advance). This can be done very quickly by logging in to your control panel and clicking one button – job done. In this way, sellers can have their ad running as long as is necessary to achieve a sale and we can keep the site up-to-date. We consider this to be extremely important as our purpose is to provide a genuinely useful property directory that buyers can use, safe in the knowledge that they are not wasting their time looking at, and responding to, properties that are no longer available. Unfortunately, this is something that happens on all too many Internet directories.
